Feelings.....lets find out their worth
Nothing in life comes for free. What was yours a moment ago, could
be snatched away from you in a blink of an eye. You cry, you beg, you steal,
even if it comes back to you, it will not come back in the same state as it
went away. Long back, I asked my mother a question, why it so happens, that I
see someone in misery and get teary eyed, but at the same time I see someone
giving tears to other people. All that my mother said is "feelings".
Today, after so long, I understood what she meant. Because feelings can not be
taught in school. You cannot see them. All you can do is feel them.
Feelings come naturally to you when you are scared of losing
things that are dear to you. If you are separated from your loved ones, it is
but natural to weep. If someone annoyed you since long, has now gone away from
you, you are tend to rejoice. Yes, happiness and sadness, both are feelings.
The person who goes through a particular situation is the one who
knows how to tackle it. If I have headache and you don’t, it will be hard for
you to understand what I am going though. But if I have a broken heart, and see
someone else’s’ broken too, I may be able to understand what he/she is going
through. I can then easily relate to it. It might happen that I get an urge to
get emotional over someone else’s situation, and come forward to help them,
because I've seen this situation, I know how to handle it, I know I can help.
Such feelings are earned in the course of life after a long experience.
If someone is true, and tells you they need you, maybe they know what it feels to
lose a loved one. Give a minute to think how you may feel to be insulted before
insulting others, how much joyous you want to be before giving tears and how
much you long to live before taking it away from others.
